What we collect and why

We use your name, email, city and rider/driver interest to administer your waitlist request, confirm your email and send the relevant early-access notification you request. Optional age ranges, local area and rider/driver preferences help us plan JURNE. Approved source and campaign codes help us understand where interest comes from. After verification, we create a public referral code and link for you to share. If someone joins through it, we record the referral and whether they verified their email; any recognition is recorded only under an enabled, approved programme policy. We do not share their name or email with the referrer. Your public code cannot sign anyone in or reveal private profile or recognition data. We keep protected security identifiers, email-delivery records and your choices to prevent abuse and honour opt-outs. If you contact us, we use your contact details and message to respond.

Initial signup asks for your name, email, city and whether you are interested in riding, driving or both. Optional preferences are self-reported. Confirming your email proves access to the mailbox only.

Our basis for using your information

We rely on your consent to send the relevant early-access notification you request. We rely on our legitimate interests in administering a requested waitlist, planning JURNE from optional answers and limited signup-source information, preventing abuse, resolving delivery issues and honouring contact choices. You can withdraw notification consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier use. Optional planning answers are voluntary and can be changed or removed in your profile.

Requested early-access updates relate to your signup. Promotional campaigns require separate consent and are not offered at this stage.

Who processes your information

Neon hosts the waitlist database, Resend handles email delivery, Cloudflare hosts and protects the website, and Zoho Mail handles messages sent to our contact address.

Our Neon database is hosted in London. Resend stores email content and delivery records in the United States, and Cloudflare processes website traffic through its international network. Their published data-processing terms provide international-transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and the UK Addendum where applicable. Our Zoho Mail contact mailbox is hosted in the UK; Zoho describes international access and processing under its UK privacy policy. We are awaiting confirmation of the account-specific Zoho processing agreement and transfer arrangements and do not claim that this review is complete. How long we keep information

Our weekly manual cleanup removes signup requests older than 30 days, profiles not updated for 365 days and associated details (including referral identities and recognition records), and operational events and completed email-delivery records older than 90 days. Expired codes and sessions are removed during cleanup. Unresolved email-delivery records are kept for investigation until resolved or the associated profile is deleted. We retain a minimal protected suppression record for as long as it is needed to prevent unwanted contact, reviewing that need during cleanup and when the waitlist ends. Withdrawal stops future contact without waiting for cleanup.

Age information

This waitlist is for adults aged 18 or over. You must confirm this before joining. This is a self-declaration, not age verification, and we do not collect your exact date of birth. If you tell us you are under 18, we withdraw your request and stop all contact. We keep a minimal age-range marker and protected suppression record to prevent further contact; contact us if the information needs correcting or you want your profile deleted.

Your choices and rights

You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests by emailing hello@getjurne.com.

Contact hello@getjurne.com to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable, or to withdraw consent. We will explain any applicable limits when responding. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

You can manage your preferences after confirming your email, or stop early-access updates using the unsubscribe link provided in those emails.

Essential storage

A short-lived secure cookie keeps you signed in to your waitlist details. We do not store typed details in browser local storage or use advertising pixels or session replay in this flow.
