In development · London first

Your work.
Your voice.

We’re building JURNE for London drivers who want clear earnings, a choice of cash-out options and a say in how the network develops.

How driving
will work.

From getting ready to drive to choosing a cash-out, here’s the experience we’re working towards.

Step 1 of 5A clear start.
  1. Get ready to drive.

We’re designing onboarding for licensed London private-hire drivers, with driver and vehicle verification before access to trips. The full eligibility requirements are still being developed.

  2. Choose when to go online.

Go online to review available trip requests. Our aim is to make the journey details and earnings information clear enough to help you decide; the dispatch rules are still taking shape.

  3. Accept and complete a journey.

Review a request, accept it, meet your passenger and take them to their destination. A practical flow that keeps the journey at the centre.

  4. See your earnings build.

Completed trips feed your earnings record, showing USDC alongside an indicative pound value. Earnings awaiting processing stay separate from funds available to withdraw.

  5. Choose where your money goes.

Request a bank cash-out or send supported stablecoins to a compatible wallet. Daily requests are the intended common pattern, rather than an immediate bank payment after every trip.

Know what you’ve earned.
Know what reaches your bank.

Your earnings would build in USDC, a digital currency designed to track the US dollar. You’d also see an estimated value in pounds. Before a bank withdrawal, you’d review the conversion rate, fees and the amount due to reach your account.

The trip record should distinguish the fare, applicable deductions and your resulting earnings. USDC is dollar-linked: it is not a guaranteed fixed pound balance, and its GBP equivalent changes with the exchange rate and conversion costs.

A requested withdrawal is separate from a completed bank payment. Its progress should stay clear until receipt is confirmed.

Pending
Earnings still being processed. They are not yet available for a withdrawal request.
Available
Funds eligible for a withdrawal request. Requesting a payout does not mean it has reached your bank.

Follow the money.

These roles explain the intended flow. One provider could perform several roles; the sequence does not define who would hold funds.

Rider payment · Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay

  1. You pay in pounds

Choose your ride and a familiar payment method. No crypto wallet needed.

    More about this step

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay are the familiar payment options we’re developing. Conversion would happen behind the scenes; you wouldn’t place a cryptocurrency order.

  2. Payment processor

A payment processor handles the card payment and its approval.

    More about this step

Authorisation can reserve funds on a card. Capturing the payment and those funds becoming available are separate stages. JURNE’s exact capture schedule is still being developed.

  3. USDC funding

Behind the scenes, a provider would arrange USDC for the driver-earnings flow.

    More about this step

This requires available funds or separately arranged prefunded liquidity. A card approval does not instantly become settled stablecoins. The funding arrangements are still being developed.

  4. USDC moves on Solana

Solana is the chosen network for transferring the stablecoin funds.

    More about this step

Solana supplies the transfer network. It does not process the card charge, convert currencies or send pounds to a bank account. Transfers may be aggregated rather than made once for every ride.

  5. Driver earnings build

After completed rides, the driver’s share is recorded, with pending and available earnings kept separate.

    More about this step

The driver’s earnings follow the fare allocation and applicable deductions. Drivers would see USDC and an indicative GBP value, accumulating earnings before requesting a withdrawal. Funds can be transferred in batches while earnings are recorded per ride. An earnings record does not automatically mean a personal on-chain wallet.

Rider payment · USDC on Solana

  1. Your supported wallet

See the fare in pounds and the USDC amount for the applicable quote.

    More about this step

The proposed USDC option requires a compatible supported wallet and the Solana network. USDC is dollar-linked; it is not worth a fixed pound. Supported wallet requirements and fees are being developed.

  2. USDC payment on Solana

Pay with supported USDC using the chosen network.

    More about this step

This route uses USDC directly, without a card processor or an unnecessary conversion into pounds and back. Applicable checks, fees, accounting and provider involvement still matter.

  3. Payment recognised

The payment is recognised separately from completion of the ride.

    More about this step

A network confirmation concerns the transfer. It does not mean a driver has been matched, the journey has finished or the driver’s earnings are available to withdraw.

  4. Driver earnings recorded

After the completed ride, the driver’s resulting earnings enter the earnings record.

Driver payout · Bank account

  1. Your earnings

Completed trips add to your earnings record. Only available funds can be requested for withdrawal.

    More about this step

USDC is designed to track the US dollar, not the pound. You’d see an indicative GBP equivalent, which changes with exchange rates and conversion costs. Pending earnings are still being processed; available earnings are eligible for a withdrawal request.

  2. You request a cash-out

Choose how much of your available earnings to withdraw.

    More about this step

The driver initiates the request. Daily requests are the intended common pattern, subject to available funds and checks. That does not guarantee daily bank receipt or an automatic payment after every trip.

  3. Review the payout

See the conversion rate, provider fees and the amount due to reach your bank before confirming.

    More about this step

A quote should show each part of the payout clearly. Any expected arrival is an estimate, subject to checks, the provider and bank processing.

    • USDC amount
    • Conversion rate
    • Fees
    • Net GBP payment
    • Expected arrival
  4. Settlement provider

After approval, the provider would convert USDC into pounds and arrange the bank payment.

    More about this step

The settlement provider is the company handling conversion and bank payout. Provider arrangements are still being developed. One company may perform several of the roles shown here.

  5. Your bank account

The payout reaches your bank through the banking network.

    More about this step

A request is not a completed payment. Requested, processing and completed receipt need distinct records. Timing depends on available funds, required checks, the provider and your bank.

Driver payout · Crypto wallet

  1. Available USDC earnings

  2. Withdrawal request

Choose how much of your available earnings to withdraw.

    More about this step

The driver initiates the request. Daily requests are the intended common pattern, subject to available funds and checks. A request is separate from a completed wallet transfer, and earnings would not transfer automatically after every trip.

  3. Check wallet and fees

Check the compatible wallet, supported network and any transfer fee.

    More about this step

The destination needs to support USDC on Solana. Service or transfer fees may apply. Checking an address does not guarantee recovery from a mistaken transfer; transfers should not be assumed reversible.

  4. USDC transfer on Solana

The available funds would move as USDC on the supported network.

    More about this step

This route bypasses conversion into pounds and the banking network. It still requires an eligible withdrawal request, any applicable checks and fee review.

  5. Your crypto wallet

USDC arrives at the compatible wallet destination.

    More about this step

A withdrawal request and a completed transfer are different stages. This option would keep your withdrawal in USDC; it would not create a fixed GBP balance.

A say in the
network you drive.

One eligible verified driver, one vote on defined network priorities. Drivers could help shape feature priorities, the driving experience and what matters locally.

The detailed governance rules are being developed. Not every decision would go to a vote, and safety and legal responsibilities would remain protected.

Useful driver questions.

Who is the initial driver service intended for?

Licensed London private-hire drivers in a small initial operating area. Driver and vehicle checks would come before access to trips; detailed eligibility and coverage are being finalised.

Do I need to understand crypto or trade it myself?

The bank-payout experience is intended to avoid manual exchange trading. You would review a clear conversion quote before confirming. Onboarding and any required checks would still apply.

Can I withdraw to a bank account, and how often?

Bank cash-outs are part of the intended model, commonly requested daily from available funds. Receipt depends on processing, required checks, the settlement provider and your bank; daily requests do not guarantee daily arrival.

What fees would affect my take-home amount?

Applicable trip deductions, conversion costs and withdrawal or transfer fees could affect it. The fee structure is being developed. The aim is to show the relevant deductions and net bank payment before you commit.

What would drivers be able to vote on?

Defined network priorities, such as features, the driver experience and local needs. Eligibility and voting rules are still being developed; a vote would not create shares, ownership or dividend rights.

How would I get help with a trip or payment issue?

We’re designing a route to raise an issue against the relevant trip or payment record. Support arrangements and resolution policies are still being developed, including how to follow an issue through.

Help shape a fairer way to drive.

We’re building the experience from both sides of the ride. Take a look at what the journey would mean for your passengers.
